A Life of Judicial Service: Judge Charles Price
In 2022 Judge Charles Price of Montgomery, Alabama donated to the Montgomery County Archives records documenting his time as a judge for Alabama's 15th Judicial Circuit. This exhibit documents Price's time on the bench, his military service, and his commitment to education and public service.
The Cottage Hill Foundation
Founded in 1839, Montgomery, Alabama's Cottage Hill neighborhood represents the first residential community created outside of the downtown area. In 1976, the Cottage Hill Foundation formed to preserve and promote the Cottage Hill neighborhood. This digital exhibit focuses on the history of Cottage Hill and the Cottage Hill Foundation.
The Montgomery County Courthouse: 60 Years
As the county seat of Montgomery County, Alabama since 1822, the county courthouse has long held a central place in the public and civic life of the county. This exhibit traces the history of the county courthouse from the nineteenth century to the present.

Unchecked Ambition: The Story of Andrew Dexter Jr.
The following exhibit "Unchecked Ambition: The story of Andrew Dexter Jr.", focuses on the life and career of Andrew Dexter Jr., a founder of Montgomery, Alabama. Using a variety of primary and secondary sources, Smith crafted a nuanced exhibit about the life of Andrew Dexter that ultimately examines the man, the career, and the cost of his reckless ambition.

The Emory Folmar Papers
The following exhibit "The Emory Folmar Papers" focuses on the life and career of Montgomery, Alabama's longest serving mayor, Emory Folmar. Using the Emory Folmar Papers, which the Montgomery County Archives holds, Cook used photographs, documents, and information from the collection, as well as a number of other primary and secondary sources, to craft an insightful glimpse into the life and career of Emory Folmar.
Gone But Not Forgotten
The result of a partnership between the Montgomery County Archives and the Montgomery, Alabama City-County Public Library, the below exhibit, "Gone But Not Forgotten: Montgomery County Alabama Cemeteries," provides a brief snapshot into the history of two of Montgomery County, Alabama's cemeteries, as well as brief biographical sketches of some of the individuals buried in them. The library and county archives created the exhibit as a way to participate in the activities associated with Montgomery County's bicentennial.

Browder v. Gayle
The following exhibit, "Browder v. Gayle" commemorates the sixtieth anniversary of the landmark case that desegregated public transportation in Alabama. This digital exhibit discusses the background of Browder v. Gayle, its outcome, and the people involved. It contextualizes the Browder v. Gayle case by discussing related lawsuits aimed at ending segregation in public transportation, voting, and housing.
The Dowe Family Collection
The following exhibit "The Dowe Family Collection" focuses on the Montgomery, Alabama Dowe family papers. The exhibit describes the collection, conveys information about the Dowe family, and provides an exciting preview of the overall collection through the use of well-constructed text, carefully chosen images, and an interactive Dowe family tree.
